I want to buy a house in the spring just wondering if the housing market is still low in california.

    Yes, the housing market is still low in CA, compared to 2 or 3 years ago **in most areas**. Some areas have held their value.
    If you have specific areas of SD or neighborhoods you want to move to, the best way to find this out is to research the recent sales trends in that specific locality.

    prices are lower in Calif.(San Diego county) and lots of homes on the market with foreclosures still happening all the time
    this is probably a good time to buy if you can, because even tho it will take time, the prices will come back up

    The market has surely gone up since it hit bottom a few years ago, but it’s still a really good time to buy, maybe even better this spring, but don’t trust the weatherman!
