Overview

Nextage Pacific Realty has a position available for a professional recruiter on staff who can attract and help retain real estate agents.  The initial push within Nextage Pacific Realty will be to increase the Real Estate business staff (licensed agents and brokers) from local areas:

• Newly licensed agents (information available from the Department of Real Estate)

• Current “Medium” level producers at other companies (production data available in MLS)

• Those seeking to enter the real estate business (junior colleges, career fairs, corporate partners)

• Those with full time careers who want to enter the real estate business part‐time.

 

Skills & Experience Required

Sales skills are a must.  Previous recruiting skills – with a documented successful track record – are required.

A real estate background is helpful, but not required.

A mortgage background is helpful, but the least important in this position.

The recruiter should be skilled with the Microsoft programs – PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Publisher.

 

Expectations

The recruiter and Nextage Pacific Realty will be jointly responsible for creating materials to be mailed out to potential applicants. Cold calling (to existing agents) will be required.  The recruiter will track all contacts with the tools of their choice (Excel, etc.) and report progress back weekly to management.  Nextage Pacific Realty will provide additional training materials for recruiting- if needed and recruiter will have access to such materials.  This is a full time position and the recruiter will be required to work from the Nextage Pacific Realty office.

 

How will the recruiter be compensated?

Compensation is through the results. The new recruiter role will be based on performance and follow a “pay for performance” model within the initial probation period. After probation period, this may be considered for a salaried position (will be discussed at interview).

    I am making a referral for this job. I rarely make referrals and don’t do it lightly. Her name is Cindy Dollahite. When she contacts you please take the time to talk to her. She is an excellent worker – highly organized, positive and high energy, articulate, and persuasive. She has recruited for us at NORC. I don’t know if she has done sales per se but she can make cold calls and gain cooperation with people from and socioeconomic level to talk about personal and financial matters and that takes very similar skills.
